Luxurious, elegant, modern, understated, comfortable and welcoming, the Stonebridge Clubhouse is the heart of the community. The facility was remodeled and expanded in 2009. More than 300 people can gather for meals in the main Dining Room, and 400 can be accommodated for theater-style events. The Club hosts formal galas, catered receptions, Broadway-type performances, classical musicians, holiday celebrations and various lecture series and community social events.
Members enjoy a variety of specialty dinner and dancing affairs including themed dinners and celebrations such as Valentine’s Day, Halloween and New Year’s Eve. On family holidays special events are held for children and their parents and grandparents such as Grandma’s Tea, Gingerbread House and Cookie Decorating, Easter Egg Hunt and Children’s Carnival. Offered at various times throughout the year are Deli Night, Italian, Chinese, Mexican and Jewish food festivals; seafood dinners; and gourmet a la carte dinners. Often these evenings are accompanied by live music, entertainment and dancing.
Every Thursday members enjoy complimentary appetizers at Happy Hour. A bar menu is available on evenings when a la carte dinners are offered. On football Sundays, members gather in the bar area, which provides a special menu including such items as chicken wings and potato skins in addition to more substantial fare.
Every morning bagels and coffee are available in the Ladies’ Card Room, which makes a pleasant gathering space for golf and social members before golf or other activities. On weekends juices and fruit are also offered.
His and hers card rooms provide a spacious venue for enjoying card and board games. Snacks and beverages are complimentary and always available. Each year the members organize “Learn a Game, Refresh A Game” events to encourage nonplaying members to join the fun. New members are always welcomed and encouraged to form their own groups or join existing games. For a quick lunch or a multicourse formal dinner, the Stonebridge culinary team and dining staff work hard to create a variety of cuisines to please every member and cater, when possible, to special needs.
